来自古法语 torche,火把，草把，来自拉丁语 torquere,扭曲，转，扎，词源同 turn,torque.引申 词义手电筒。
词根词缀法
先讲讲词根tort，这个词根的意思是“扭曲”，在古时候，火把就是将稻草之类的拧成一束束而制成的
。
tor是tort的简写，加个ch。
于是这个单词有“火把”之意，在现代，当然就变成了“火炬”（奥运火炬啥子的~），还有“手电筒”
