这两个词共同的意思是“别的”。它们的区别是：else常用在疑问副词、疑问代词、不定代词后,而other则可修饰单数或复数名词而位于其前。例如:Have you anything else to do?你还有别的事要做吗?There is no one else to compare with him in this respect.在这方面没有其他人比得上他。Any other man would have done better.换上另外任何人都会做得好些。I've got other things to think about.我还有别的事要考虑。
